Another day, another negroni post.
But this is one of the weirdest, most interesting variations I've tried yet: the Tradewinds Negroni.
Not gonna lie, I was a little hesitant about popping the dasher cap off my bottle of Ango to pour out almost an ounce of the stuff. Was it worth it? Absolutely. It's a rich, bitter (duh?), spice-in-your-face slow-sipper, and way more enjoyable than I anticipated. I'd make these more often, if only I had a lifetime supply of Ango.
I do find it a tad curious that this is labelled as a negroni, given how much it strays from the standard spec. But if that which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet...
