The beloved Black Tot Rum created by the renowned Elixir Distillers to pay homage to the over 200 year old practice of the Royal Navy's daily tot of rum that was offered to sailors during their service, appears to have a Perpetual Reserve expression in the works!
The latest expression will see a traditional English style blend of rums from Barbados, Trinidad, Guyana and Jamaica, distilled with both pot and column stills, and has of course no sugar added.
"Our perpetual blend creates extraordinary flavor by marrying together a selection of rare, well-aged rums. Our blending vat is never emptied, gaining layered complexity year over year.
Notes of dark molasses, luscious tropical fruit, black licorice, and much more."

The new Black Tot Perpetual Reserve Rum, which is blended and bottled in Scotland, is set to be issued at 46.2% ABV.
