Breaking Bad Stars' Dos Hombres To Unveil Line Up Of Tequila From Blanco To Reposado & Anejo

Known for their mezcal brand Dos Hombres, Breaking Bad stars Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston have now moved into Tequila with the launch of a full new lineup that includes the classic Blanco, Reposado and Anejo.
Dos Hombres Tequila comes in both Blanco and Reposado expressions, with an Añejo planned for an early 2027 release. The tequila itself hails from the Tequilera Tap Distillery (NOM 1614) in Amatitán, Jalisco.
The Tequilas were crafted under the stewardship of Julio Cova, who is said to have returned from a near 40-year retirement to produce Dos Hombres as its maestro tequilero.
The Blanco boasts initial notes of smooth cooked agave before black pepper, lime and orange zest arrive. Notes of orange blossom and toasted cinnamon are then said to round out the profile, while the finish is long and soft with a touch of coconut.
The Reposado was matured for four months in ex-Four Roses Bourbon first-fill barrels, adding a richer, lightly-oaked character to the profile.

According to the team, the expressions utilize 100% slow-roasted Blue Weber agave, cooked in a hybrid of traditional brick ovens and modern autoclaves. After a roller-mill crush, the juice undergoes double-distillation in a mix of copper and stainless steel stills. The process concludes with a unique 30-day rest in open-air fermentation vats to refine the final profile.
The Dos Hombres brand has also updated its bottle and label designs across its full portfolio. The new design now has ‘vibrant colours and refined typography’, which it feels brings a ‘modern take’ to the bottle while keeping its signature features such as the Dos Hombres signature donkeys, agave plant and ingredient transparency.
Dos Hombres Blanco will be available at select retailers in the US from 1 May, while Dos Hombres Reposado Tequila will debut in July, both with MSRPs of US$39 and US$49 respectively.
