Brewlander Wants To Take You On A Trip To Belgium With New Pretty Strong Belgium Golden Ale
Singapore's popular craft brewery Brewlander is getting funky with a unique strain of yeast - and we're about to take a taste trip to Belgium for it! The new expression is Brewlander's interpretation of the Belgian Golden Strong Ale, dubbed "Pretty Strong Ale".
The unique yeast strain is said to "shake the fermentation process up", producing a brew that showcases subtle spiciness of clove and pepper and fruity shades of orange, pear and lemon.
It is said to be medium-bodied and balances grainy sweetness from the pilsner malt with slight warming alcohol flavors, complex and yet easy-drinking pour with a dry finish. In all, Brewlander tells us to expect Belgian candy sugar notes that are elegant and well-balanced.
It weighs in at 7% and is available now for 8 SGD per 340ml can, which you can purchase from their site here.
