Guyana's pre-eminent major rum brand El Dorado looks set to release two new double cask aged 18 Year Old expressions - a Bourbon & Oloroso Sherry Casks Rum and a Bourbon & Cognac Casks Rum.
The two 18 Year Old expressions were both a blend of pot and column distilled rums aged for 15 years in ex-Bourbon American Oak casks before their subsequent secondary aging - one with 3 additional years in Sherry-seasoned American Oak casks and the other with 3 additional years in Cognac VS-seasoned French Oak casks.
