What you need to know:
- American rock bank Kings of Leon now has their own Bourbon, but wait, it's a Willett.
- The band has collaborated with Kentucky Bourbon-maker Willett to create a set of three Bourbons - a 5 Year Old and an 8 Year Old Rye, and a 19 Year Old Bourbon.
- The lineup goes by the name Kiamichi, which is the name of a river that the bandmates, all family members, would hold their family reunions.
- The range is available via kiamichiwhiskey.com and will be rolled out in Oklahoma, Tennessee and Kentucky this week.
Everyone has a Bourbon. No, really, Matthew McConaughey, Bob Dylan, heck, even Drake has one!
So what's worth taking note here is that this one's a Willett, one of the most reputable Bourbons out there. And this one comes from the rock band Kings of Leon. It's called Kiamichi.

The American band has partnered with Kentucky's Willett Distillery to release a set of Bourbons and ryes. The new launch was revealed during the band's performance at Louisville's Bourbon & Beyond festival.
The name Kiamichi is a nod to the river where bandmates Caleb, Nathan, Jared and Matthew, who are all related, would gather for family reunions.
It's unclear what the Kings of Leon knows about Bourbon, but Willett certainly does, and that should offer us some comfort. (Image Source: SPIN)
“I would bring different bottles of Willett with me to parties and back to reunions, and feel like I was bringing something really special. When we started to talk about doing our own brand, they were my first and only call. If they would have said no, we probably wouldn’t have done it."

The first launch of Kiamichi will include a 5 Year Old and an 8 Year Old Rye, and a 19 Year Old Bourbon.
