Glendronach Presents In New Master's Anthology Series An Ode To The Dark, To The Embers And To The Valley
Glendronach (or GlenDronach, as it is stylised) has become quite the growing favourite amongst the whisky community, winning over the hearts and palates with its outstanding early 1990's vintages.
The Scotch distillery takes its name from the Gaelic text for "Valley of the Brambles", and now the distillery appears to have a new series in the works, paying homage to the distillery's landscapes - we've got Ode To The Dark, and Ode To The Valley.
EDIT: We've got one more Ode To The Embers from GlenDronach that just appeared!
Glendronach Ode To The Dark, Pedro Ximenez Sherry Casks, 50.8% ABV
Ode to the Dark is the richest expression within The Master's Anthology. Fully matured in exceptional Pedro Ximenez casks and bottled at 101.6 Proof presenting deep notes of dark fruit enrobed in velvet coffee and sumptuous chocolate.
Glendronach Ode To The Valley, Sherry & Port Casks, 46.2% ABV
Ode to the Valley is our most alluring, fruit-filled expression within The Master's Anthology. Matured in a combination of ruby port casks from the Douro valley in Portugal, and our signature sherry casks, presenting notes of floral nectar with succulent ripe summer berries.
The Glendronach Ode to the Valley is bottled at 46.2% ABV (92.4 Proof).
Glendronach Ode To The Embers, Sherry & Smoke, 48.4% ABV
Ode to the Embers is a rare peated expression within The Master's Anthology. Richly aromatic, it presents intertwined notes of peat smoke, with a dominance of Oloroso sherry casks for spiced complexity, enriched with our signature Pedro Ximenez casks.
The Glendronach Ode to the Embers is bottled at 48.4% ABV (96.8 Proof).
