Highball lovers, Suntory has got you guys on their minds! With the regular spate of Yamazaki, Hakushu and Hibiki releases designed to get the people going, it might seem like Suntory hasn't tossed enough over to the Highball lovers - but that's all about to change with the new Toki Black!

Now over the past century, Japan's distillers have certainly whipped out a fair number of "Black" variants of whisky expressions designed for the Highball life, typically indicating that it's a whisky that's more smoky and peaty, and now Suntory's got one for their Toki Suntory Whisky too.

Much like the classic Toki, the new Toki Black is going to be kept at 43% ABV (86 Proof), and remains a fully qualified Japanese whisky, which means that all the components in this blend comes from whisky produced and aged in Japan!

And that's precisely what we're told on the back label, "A vivid blend of whiskies from Hakushu, Yamazaki and Chita distilleries. The limited edition with a rich, smoky twist." 

Now someone tell me how's this any far off from Hibiki?

Definitely one to keep a look out for!
