EDIT: The official bottle announcement is here!

"A single malt whisky released in 2023, vatted with malt whiskies aged in various barrels, mainly bourbon barrels.

Please enjoy the deep flavor that is intricately woven with plump thickness and fresh fruity."

This will be priced at 8,800 Yen or US$66, bottled at 50% ABV.

For now, all we have are the labels which don't disclose much else, aside from the bottling strength being 50% ABV, in line with last year's 2022 Edition.

This year's 2022 Edition saw a primarily ex-Bourbon barrel matured 3 - 4 year old whisky, with quite a substantial outturn of 35,800 bottles released.

Tsunuki, based in Kagoshima, has been picking up fans all around for their fruity, heftier whiskies. The distillery belongs to Mars' portfolio that includes the Shinshu Distillery in Nagano, and an ageing cellar on the more subtropical Yakushima Island.

Stay tuned for more updates as the release rolls around!
