Gin Mare, the Mediterranean-inspired Spanish gin and world's number one ultra premium gin, will join the Brown-Forman portfolio, following its acquisition. The acquisition was first announced in September 2022.

Gin Mare which had previously been owned by Vantguard and MG Destilerias, is made with botanicals including Arbequina Olives, thyme, rosemary and basil.

More recently, Gin Mare unveiled an extension to its core expression, with Gin Mare Capri, incorporating additional botanicals of Italian bergamot and lemons.

Post-acquisition, Gin Mare will continue to be produced at MG Destilerias in Vilanova i la Geltru.
