Don't we all love a good canned highball?

Well, Nikka clearly knows what's up and has turned their Nikka Frontier whisky into a ready-to-drink (RTD) canned highball with an emphasis on the use of heavily peated malt whisky! 

Nikka Frontier was first debut in October 2024 with the goal of embodying the pioneering spirit of its founder Masataka Taketsuru and conveying it to the next generation in a brave and bold aesthetic. As such, the Nikka Frontier is made with heavily peated malt whisky from Yoichi Distillery in Hokkaido - Nikka's birthplace - which is said to carry a rich aroma and pleasant smoky taste that goes non-chill filtered in order to retain that flavour abundance and complexity.

And so as of 14th July 2026, Nikka Frontier will now come in a canned highball carrying the tagline "A new frontier with a smoky aroma", and is packaged in a 350ml can that packs in 7% ABV.

The new Nikka Frontier Highball will be distributed nationwide in Japan and will be priced domestically at 238 Yen (excluding tax), or US$1.48.
