Sazerac Unveils Trio Of RTD Brands For US: Lovebug Hard Cream Soda, Endless Afternoon Whiskey Lemonade & Buckhorn Whiskey Lemonade

 

Drinks giant Sazerac is doubling down on the RTD market, launching three new canned spirits brands in the US following its acquisition of BuzzBallz.

The three new brands include the Lovebug Hard Cream Soda, Endless Afternoon Whiskey Lemonade, and Buckhorn Whiskey Lemonade. The brand intends for each drink to provide a distinct RTD experience.

Lovebug Hard Cream Soda is self styled as the first vodka-based cream soda, said to be a 'nostalgic twist on soda’. Packaged in 350ml cans, this is available in four distinct flavors Vanilla ‘n Cream, Cherries’ n Cream, Cola’ n Cream, and Peaches’ n Cream.

It has an ABV of 5% while remaining completely sugar-free, dairy-free, and with 100 calories per serving.

Endless Afternoon Whiskey Lemonade is described by the brand as a ‘refreshing line of whiskey lemonades’ suited for laid-back summer days.

At 9% ABV, the drink contains real whiskey and real lemon juice from concentrate with four flavors in the range: Original Lemonade, Peach Lemonade, Blackberry Lemonade, and Ginger Lemonade. 

Buckhorn Whiskey Lemonade also marks the Buckhorn Bourbon Whiskey brand’s RTD entry, combining the blended whiskey with lemon juice from concentrate.

The range includes the Classic Whiskey Lemonade, Peach Whiskey Lemonade, Blackberry Whiskey Lemonade, and Honey Whiskey Lemonade. Each expression comes in at 7% ABV, and is intended for outdoor occasions.

All three brands are available at select retailers nationwide in the US, in eight-pack variety formats with a suggested retail price of $18.99.
