On 29th July 2023 at 12 pm, GlenAllachie takes centre stage at the distinguished Cantonese restaurant, 5on25, in Andaz Hotel Singapore. Hosted by Asiaeuro Wines & Spirits, this unique whisky pairing lunch will feature five single malts from GlenAllachie, carefully selected by Brand Ambassador Andrew Mustard.

GlenAllachie Distillery is a renowned distillery from the Speyside region. Led by Master Distiller Billy Walker, the distillery is known for its steadfast dedication to using high-grade oak barrels for maturation. This practice plays an instrumental role in imparting the distinctive, rich flavours that GlenAllachie whiskies are renowned, and which won them the award of World's Best Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards.

 

The 5 GlenAllachie expressions that would be poured at this lunch are:

• the 7 Years Old Hungarian Virgin Oak
• the 12 Years Old Ruby Port
• the Billy Walker 50th Anniversary III
• the 10 Years Old Cask Strength Batch 9

The lunch will feature a five-course Cantonese menu, specially prepared by Head Chef Lim Hong Lih. With two decades of experience in top-tier Cantonese kitchens, Chef Lim promises a menu that perfectly complements the richness of GlenAllachie’s single malts.

Located on the 25th floor of the Andaz Hotel, the venue, 5on25, offers a panoramic view of Singapore set in a glamorous 1950s ambience. Emulating the nostalgia of upscale Chinese supper clubs, the restaurant is dedicated to pleasing all five senses, providing a harmonious blend of Cantonese and Hong Kong food, great views and ambiance.

Tickets are very affordably priced at S$120 per seat (10% service charge & 8% GST) - quite a steal really. But keep in mind, this event is a limited seating affair, accommodating only 20 guests.
