The Rum Cartel, in collaboration with InterContinental Singapore, is hosting a three-day premium rum extravaganza. From Friday to Sunday, 26 to 28 July 2024, Rum & Roll Rendezvous will celebrate the spirit of Havana with a heady mix of tastings, masterclasses, pool parties, and even a speakeasy soiree.

Day 1: The Extravaganza (Friday, 26 July, 8pm to 11pm) - $128++

The weekend kicks off with The Extravaganza, a Friday night filled with live Latin music, free-flowing rum cocktails, light bites, complimentary masterclasses and a chance to sample rums from the likes of Bacardi, Plantation Rum, Flor de Cana, Appleton Rum, Mount Gay, and Santa Teresa.

Day 2 (Part 1): Rum & Roll Immersion (Saturday, 27 July, 12pm onwards) - $68++

Saturday is all about diving deeper into the world of rum. Attendees can wander through the Rum & Roll Immersion, sampling a curated selection of rums from various vendors in a free-and-easy tasting hall. But the real highlight is the series of 4 Rum Appreciation Masterclasses, where experts like Issyam As'ari of Mount Gay, Symphony Loo of Appleton Rum, and Rob Scott of Flor de Cana will guide you through the intricacies of rum production. It's an opportunity to learn from the masters themselves and refine your palate.

Day 2 (Part 2): Rum and Roll to the Tropical Pool Party (Friday Saturday, 27 July, 6 pm to 10 pm) - $68++

As the sun sets, the party moves to the pool. The Tropical Pool Party at InterContinental Singapore promises a vibrant atmosphere with a live DJ, refreshing dips in the pool, and, of course, plenty of rum-infused concoctions. Participants will receive a welcome drink, access to rum tastings and a bar where food and drinks are available for purchase.

Day 1 & Day 2: Secret After-Party Extravaganza at El Pico (26 and 27 July after 10pm)

For those who want to keep the party going, there's an exclusive after-party at El Pico, a hidden Cuban-inspired lounge on Hong Kong Street. Expect live music, drinks and a Cuban-Caribbean atmosphere.

Tickets for this party are priced at $25++ per person and includes transportation from the hotel and a welcome drink.

Day 3: A Grand Finale with Champagne and Brunch (28 July from 12pm)

The festivities culminate in a Rum & Roll Champagne Brunch Buffet at LUCE, the hotel's signature restaurant. Indulge in Italian delicacies, free-flowing rum cocktails and champagne, and a live DJ set. It's the perfect way to end a weekend of rum-fuelled fun.

Adult tickets are priced at $198++, with entry to masterclasses, while non-alcoholic options are available at $118++ for adults, $68++ for children aged 6 to 11 years old, and $38++ for 3 to 5 years old.
