The Singapore Anniversary Auction is set to showcase an impressive array of over 700 lots of the world's most sought-after wines. Think legendary names like Domaine de la Romanée-Conti (DRC), Mouton Rothschild, Lafite Rothschild, Haut-Brion, Henri Jayer, Leroy, and a selection of Domaine-direct collections. Domaine-direct collections refer to wines sourced directly from the wineries themselves, guaranteeing provenance and often offering unique bottlings or older vintages not readily available in the market.
For those unable to attend in person, Acker Wines is bringing the auction to a global audience via its mobile app and digital bidding platform, which allows you to participate in the excitement wherever you are. But for those lucky enough to be in Singapore, in-room attendees will be treated to a multi-course luncheon curated by Wakuda, featuring a selection of premier wines to accompany the fine culinary experience.
Guests can expect to taste exceptional bottles like the 2006 Raveneau Chablis Les Clos, large format bottles of top 2009 Bordeaux wines, the legendary 1990 Château Latour, a jeroboam of the 1986 Château Lafite Rothschild, and, of course, the holy grail itself - Domaine de la Romanée-Conti.
The auction gavel will drop at 10:00 am Singapore time, which translates to 12:00 am in New York. The luncheon will be served at 12:00 pm SGT, allowing ample time to peruse the auction lots and perhaps snag a few prized bottles before returning to lunch. Tickets for this exclusive luncheon are priced at $777 per person, but this fee is rebatable upon a successful bid.

Wines Under Hammer
This auction is a treasure trove for collectors with a selection of legendary vintages and iconic producers from Burgundy, Bordeaux, and beyond. The lots are sourced from six prominent cellars, each with its own unique character and highlights: The Sovereign Cellar, The Collection of the Chairman, The Epicurean, The Golden Bull, Domaine Hubert & Laurent Lignier, and Alex Moreau.
The Sovereign Cellar (Lots 75-247) is a haven for Bordeaux lovers, presenting over 200 original wooden cases of Premier Cru classé wines, including 40 lots of First Growths with 16 banded cases (banded cases are original wooden cases) and 80 lots of large format bottles. It showcases benchmark vintages like 2005, 2009, and 2010. Overall, there are over 1,200 individual bottles, 200 magnums, 20 double magnums, and even 10 imperials of investment-grade Bordeaux.
For those seeking Burgundy, The Collection of the Chairman (Lots 354-439) is where the treasures lie. This collection boasts 90% of the auction's top lots, including an impressive 30 lots of DRC, 11 banded original wood cases, and 22 parcels of white Burgundy Grand and Premier Cru wines. Among the gems on offer are the elusive 1996 Henri Jayer Cros Parantoux, the rich and complex 2016 Coche-Dury Corton-Charlemagne, and the legendary 1993 Domaine Leroy Nuits-Saint-Georges.
If Champagne is your weakness, then The Golden Bull (Lots 248-310) will capture your attention. This collection features top Champagne producers, with an emphasis on the prestigious Krug Clos du Mesnil from vintages spanning 1988 to 2008. Also included are magnums of the elegant 2002 Salon Le Mesnil and the iconic 2012 Louis Roederer Cristal and Cristal Rosé.
The Epicurean (Lots 440-695) offers a more expansive view, showcasing 2,300 bottles from top wine regions, including 1,900 bottles of Bordeaux and Burgundy, 44 bottles of DRC, and selections from 36 top Burgundy winemakers. Highlights include a vertical of Château Latour from 1996 to 2015, First and Second Growth Bordeaux from the highly acclaimed 2020 vintage, and parcel lots of 2016s from Lafite Rothschild, Mouton Rothschild, Margaux, Cheval Blanc, and more. On 23rd October, CUT by Wolfgang Puck will host the Bordeaux Masters Rare Wine Dinner, promising an evening dedicated to the finest expressions of this revered region. The following evening, on 24th October, KOMA will set the stage for The Icons of Burgundy Rare Wines Dinner, showcasing the elegance and complexity of Burgundy's Grand Cru vineyards. Both of these exclusive dinners are priced at $3,888 per person.
For those seeking the ultimate indulgence, The Greatest Wines of the World Dinner will be held on 25th October at Maison Boulud. This extraordinary event will feature a carefully curated selection of iconic wines from across the globe. This experience is priced at $7,888 per person.
