Exciting news for cocktail lovers and those passionate about mental wellness! Bar Spectre, a recently-opened cocktail bar with a unique focus on the mental wellness theme has a lineup of wellness-themed F&B events planned for us in the next months.

Located in the heart of Tanjong Pagar Singapore, Bar Spectre is a vintage apothecary-themed cocktail bar, drawing inspiration from the work of Carl Jung and the Japanese philosophy of kintsugi, which finds beauty in imperfection. Its founder, Andrew Pang, is a Suntory regional brand ambassador with a passion for promoting mental health.

Therefore, the bar has a very refreshing focus on providing a space that promotes mental wellness through a thoughtful blend of consciously crafted cocktails and contemporary Southeast Asian-inspired comfort food.

The menu is divided into four intriguing categories: Herbal, Umami, Citrus, and Spices, featuring a mix of traditional Asian ingredients and modern liqueurs and spirits. Additionally, some cocktails incorporate adaptogens from traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and natural mood boosters to offer a creative healing experience.

Bar Spectre has recently announced it would be taking its commitment to mental wellness a step further with a series of themed cocktail events planned for over the next few months, starting from February.

February – Alchemy of Affection

Dates: 14 February / 21 February / 28 February

Event Details: Explore the five love languages through immersive tasting dinners that feature sensory activities curated for each course. The special tasting menu is priced at $88+ per guest, with an optional add-on of three cocktails for an additional $50+ per guest.

Date: 18 March

Event Details: This intimate dinner gathering, organised by Soul Shall Light, delves into cultivating happiness and personal truth through identity.

July – Sonic Seasoning

Dates: 3 July / 10 July / 17 July / 24 July

Event Details: A collaborative dinner with LASALLE’s musical department that explores the sensory interplay of sound and taste, paired with a Southeast Asian-inspired menu.

Monthly starting from March – Death in the Afternoon

Dates: Starting 23 March, then monthly

Time: 3 PM

Event Details: A series encouraging open conversations about death and dying over food and cocktails, aiming to break the taboo surrounding these topics. Bar Spectre will provide resources and tools to facilitate these important discussions.
