Taste a range of rare craft beers on Saturday, 14th January 2023 6pm at The Jungle Boy café-bar! 

The intimate tasting session would be conducted by Singaporean craft beer retailer BoozyChewy, that specialises in importing beers from exclusive and most hyped breweries in the United States.  

Each participant would be provided a tasting set of 8 beers – 7 of which are barrel-aged pastry stouts and one of them a DIPA (double IPA). All beers have ABVs of more than 8% and a total volume of 700ml!

Description of Beers offered:– 

1. 3 Sons Gula

Imperial Stout aged for 19 months in a 7 yr old Bernheim wheated whiskey barrel before being treated with 85lbs of in-house toasted hazelnuts.

2. 3 Sons Invidia

Imperial Stout aged for 19 months in a 9 yr old Elijah Craig bourbon barrel before being treated with a sinful amount of Comoros vanilla beans.

3. 3 Sons Luxuria

Imperial Stout aged for 19 months in a 6 yr old, Old Fitzgerald bourbon barrel before being treated with 2lbs coconut per gallon.

4. Modern Times Modem Tones aged in Bourbon and Rhum Barrels: Coconut Cake Edition

Modern Times blended rhum agricole and bourbon barrel-aged versions of this sought-after imperial stout and then added an epic amount of coconut, Ugandan and Papua New Guinea vanilla, and some demerara sugar. The rhum barrels and Demerara bring a deeply-reduced, dark sugar taste, with the vanilla, coconut, and bourbon bringing tons of dessert character to wrap the whole thing up.

6. Weldwerks Starry Noche 2022

Weldwerks's 2022 vintage of Starry Noche started as a carefully selected blend of Medianoche batches aged for 20-29 months in a variety of freshly emptied Old Fitzgerald 14-year bourbon, Elijah Craig 19-year bourbon, Sazerac 14-year rye, Blanton's 8-year bourbon, Eagle Rare 10-year bourbon, and Henry McKenna 11-year bourbon barrels. After resting in these incredible casks for over two years, the blend was conditioned on more than three pounds per gallon of toasted coconut flakes and raw coconut chips and finished with toasted hazelnut.

2022 Barrel aged World between worlds Variation. This years BAWBW was conditioned on sweetened toasted coconut, raw coconut, unsweetened toasted coconut, roasted hazelnuts, Ghana cacao nibs and Madagascar vanilla beans
