Ever ready for a landmark celebration, Great Palate 2025: Whisky & Spirits Edition is set to raise a glass to Singapore's 60th anniversary with a special edition that honors the nation's Diamond Jubilee.
Happening on 5 & 6 July 2025, at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Grand Ballroom, will feature a host of exclusive and commemorative SG60 releases from around the globe.

Headlining the event is an exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime SG60 single-cask collaboration with Japan's revered Mars Distillery. This highly anticipated, limited-edition whisky features collectible labels meticulously designed by renowned Singaporean illustrator Lee Xin Li, and it's bottled exclusively for Malt & Wine Asia.
Mars Distillery, famously Japan's highest altitude distillery, earned global acclaim when its whisky was crowned World's Best Blended Malt Whisky at the World Whisky Awards, a milestone that significantly elevated the stature of Japanese whiskies worldwide.
Lee is an independent Singaporean illustrator that bases his works off of the vibrant culture, diverse food, striking architecture, and deep history of his surroundings, with celebrated works like his "Kueh series" and "Peta Singapura."
For this unique collaboration, Lee adapted his impactful 2018 work, "In Our Time." capturing Singapore's layers of history, architecture, culture, and more.
The event will also see an introduction of an iconic series of SG60 single-cask collaborations with internationally acclaimed names including Samaroli, Sakurao, and ABK6 Grand Champagne Cognac:

Mars Komagatake 2018 First Fill Bourbon Cask #BT3850: Collaboration with Mars Whisky, a producer with 2 distinct distilleries and 3 aging sites.
Mars Tsunuki 2020 First Fill Oloroso Sherry Cask #T1663: Collaboration with Mars Whisky, a producer with 2 distinct distilleries and 3 aging sites.
Mars Tsunuki Yakushima Aging 2020 First Fill PX Cask #2336: Collaboration with Mars Whisky, a producer with 2 distinct distillery and 3 aging sites.

Sakurao 2020 First Fill Marsala Wine Cask #7162: From Hiroshima to Singapore -Collaboration with Sakurao Distillery Hiroshima, near the Seto Inland Sea. The unique label features the Itsukushima Shrine O-Torii gate in Japan, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Samaroli 2010 Strathisla Bourbon Cask #586: A collaboration with Samaroli, the first non-UK Independent Bottler renowned for its carefully selected casks. The label is specially designed by Samaroli to pay tribute to the Chingay Parade, which has been nominated for inclusion by Malaysia and Singapore to be on the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
There will also be a few debuts at Great Palate 2025, including Goalong, a Chinese single malt that has made waves on the global stage by garnering nine awards—including six
golds—at the 2024 World Whiskies Awards.
Adding to the excitement, Gu Yue Long Shan Huang Jiu will also make its debut at the event. This acclaimed "yellow wine" producer is recognized as a "Top 100 Asian brand" and was prominently featured at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Whisky enthusiasts can also look forward to the highly anticipated launch of the Godzilla Umiki Blended Whisky. This special release commemorates Godzilla's 70th anniversary and comes from Umiki, renowned as the world's first ocean-fused whisky brand.
This limited-edition collector's item boasts a unique Japanese cedar cask finish, with each bottle meticulously handcrafted by the esteemed Hashimoto Shitsugei Studio. These bottles are true works of art, blending traditional Japanese Shitsugei lacquer with intricate gold and shell inlays.
Of course, there will also be a barrage of masterclasses led by experts in each of their fields, with a line-up of personalities that include Alan Gao (group founder of Goalong
Whisky) and Taihei Yamamoto (chief blender of Sakurao). Other masterclasses include:

The Great Palate event will also proudly feature six prominent independent bottlers from Singapore, each eager to share their unique craft and curated whisky collections with the enthusiast community.
Adding to the excitement, acclaimed bar Cat Bite Club will also be on hand to unveil four bespoke SG60 cocktails, specially crafted for the occasion and said to be a spirited tribute to Singapore's 60th year.
Organized by Malt & Wine Asia, a leading wine and spirits distribution company, this walkabout tasting event promises participants the opportunity to explore over 200 different labels, with insights directly from the source of15 distillery owners and representatives in-attendance.
Each ticket for this grand event is priced at $88 nett, with every ticket holder entitled to a generous tasting experience that includes 20 complimentary drams in the Walkabout Tasting Hall, a refreshing cocktail from Singapore's one and only Mezcal and Tequila maestro Cat Bite Club, and a commemorative tasting glass with a lanyard to take home.
