Hardys, St Hallett & More Acclaimed Australian Wines To Be Widely Available in Singapore Supermarkets

Accolade Wines has just partnered with Singaporean distributor Amber Nectar to bring its portfolio of Australian wines to Singapore. Accolade Wines is the company behind several big names in the Australian wine industry, the powerhouse behind Hardys, Grant Burge, Petaluma and St Hallett. These wines can be found in leading supermarkets in Singapore such as FairPrice Finest, FairPrice Xtra and Cold Storage.

The partnership was announced at a recent launch event featuring Helen McCarthy, Director of Global & ANZ Premium Winemaking at Acolade Wines.

Hardys has been around since 1850, thanks to the pioneering spirit of Thomas Hardy himself. Featured wines that would be brought in include the Thomas Hardy Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 a rich red wine crafted as a tribute to the man who started it all. The Hardys Crest Sparkling Moscato is a must-try for those with a sweet tooth, with bright flavours and summer fruits in its notes.

Next up, we have Grant Burge which boasts of deep roots in the Barossa Valley. The Burge family have been crafting top-notch wines since the 1800s, and their passion for showcasing South Australia's unique terroir shines through in every bottle. Iconic wines include the Abednego Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre 2018 with lovely potpourri aromas, while the Meshach Shiraz 2019 is another rich and satisfying drop.

There's also St Hallett, established in 1944 by the Lindner family. Their Old Block Shiraz 2018 is a complex beauty with notes of dark chocolate, spice, and plums, while the Faith Shiraz 2023 offers a burst of ripe cherry flavour and a velvety smooth texture.

To celebrate this new partnership, Accolade and Amber Nectar are offering a consumer promotion. Buyers could snag a free Vintec Wine Chiller (worth S$899) should they spend S$1,500 or more on selected Hardys, Grant Burge and St Hallett wines at FairPrice supermarkets from now till 30 November 2024.

And if you're just looking to try a bottle or two, you can find Accolade's brands at all the usual suspects, including FairPrice Finest, FairPrice Xtra, and Cold Storage. Time to stock up for Christmas, perhaps!
