Just as The World's 50 Best Bars ceremony will take place in Singapore on 17th October you're in for a treat for some top-notch cocktail experiences. Manhattan at Conrad Singapore Orchard is gearing up for the week and would be hosting three standout collaborations from 15 to 22 October 2023. 

Ranked 21st on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2023 and 33rd in The World’s 50 Best Bars 2022, Manhattan at Conrad Singapore Orchard is a grand hotel bar inspired by the 19th century’s Golden Age of cocktails and fine drinking. Delivering on its name with a glamorous space reminiscent of old New York, it promises craft bartending that pay homage to classic and forgotten cocktails from history, and a collection of premium spirits.

Here's what's on the menu at Manhattan this month:

15 October 2023: Dark Spirits Brunch x Botanist Bar

Manhattan and Vancouver's Botanist Bar are teaming up for a special edition of Manhattan’s Sunday Cocktail Brunch. Think of it as a nod to New York City's vibrant brunch culture. You'll get to enjoy a lavish buffet, free-flowing cocktails in collaboration with brands like Matusalem, Torres, Remy Martin, and Perrier. This includes a gourmet delicatessen counter, freshly shucked oysters, succulent seafood, and a variety of desserts.

Botanist Bar's Grant Sceney will be showcasing his mixology skills. And yes, there will be custom Bloody Marys, boozy milkshakes, and highballs from Manhattan's cocktail trolleys.

Time: 12 pm to 3 pm

Price: S$158++ per person for three hours of free-flow food and cocktails.

16 October 2023: Friends of Manhattan with The Connaught Bar and Blue Bar

On 16 October, the day kicks off with The Connaught Bar, a top-tier London bar (No.8 in The World’s 50 Best Bars in 2022), showcasing their cocktail expertise. From 4pm to 7pm, Ago Perrone, Director of Mixology at The Connaught Hotel, Bar Manager Maura Milia and Mixologist Riccardo Lugano, will be there in person, bringing with them signature concoctions like the Connaught Martini, The Goodfellas, the Faraway Collins, and the Eclipse Code.

Later in the evening, from 10pm to 1am, Blue Bar will be sharing their unique London-inspired drinks. Bar Manager Marcello Cauda and Head Bartender Giovanni Bruno will present concoctions such as Raj by Night, Mirror Martini, the Roadrunner, and London to Singapore.

Time: 4 pm to 1 am (with a break in between)

Price: Cocktails at $28++ each, presented in partnership with Michter's Whiskey, Los Siete Misterios Mezcal, and Farmer's Gin.

18 October 2023: Friends of Manhattan with DUKES Bar

DUKES Bar, a London legend, and the favourite haunt of James Bond author Ian Fleming, is bringing its iconic Martini to Manhattan. If you're a fan of a well-made Martini, this is your chance to experience it from one of the best in the business.

Bar Manager Alessandro Palazzi, often referred to as the "maestro of the martini", will be there to present his signature Martini creations with The Botanist Gin.

Time: 5 pm to 10 pm

Price: Martinis at $28++ each.

And here's a little bonus: Manhattan is extending its operating hours for the entire week from 16 to 22 October 2023. They'll be open till 1 am every day, so there's more time to enjoy and celebrate.
