Calling all wine enthusiasts! Get for Great Palate 2024, an island-wide series of wine and spirits tasting exhibitions, masterclasses, and wine pairing dinners set to take over Singapore this October. Organised by Malt & Wine Asia, well-known for their selection of wines and spirits, this event focuses on Old World fine & fortified wines and spirits. The excitement kicks off from the 17th to the 20th of October, so mark your calendars!
The iconic highlight events will launch at the stylish NCO Club, located within the JW Marriott Southbeach. There would be over 100 labels from 30 brands hailing from the revered Old World regions of Europe.

With partners flying in from Europe to share their passion, this event promises to be an intimate and enriching experience.
Renowned wineries on the list include Champagne Frerejean Frères, Champagne Vilmart & Cie, Château de Pommard (Burgundy), J.Denuziere (Rhone Valley), St Patrice (Châteauneuf-du-pape), Château Saint Maur (Provence), Tenuta Sant’Antonio (Verona) and Beronia (Rioja). In the fortified wines and spirits category, it includes ABK6 (cognac), Cocchi (Italian vermouth), Gonzalez Byass (Spanish sherry) and Cockburn’s (port).
The Gardener’s Gin, co-founded by Brad Pitt, will also make its debut in Singapore at the event. It's worth noting that The Gardener’s gin is distilled in France using grapes from the Château Miraval estate, co-owned by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. (Read our review of The Gardener's Gin!)
With 13 ambassadors from wineries and distilleries flying in to support Great Palate 2024, you'll have the opportunity to engage with the individuals behind these exceptional beverages. Roberto Bava, the principal of Giulio Cocchi winery and President of the Vermouth di Torino Consortium since 2019, will be present to share his expertise.
Additionally, Armando Castagnedi, the owner and winemaker of Tenuta Sant’Antonio, known for producing Valpolicella, Soave and the most iconic Amarone wines, known for their richness as they are made from partially dried grapes.
Great Palate Programme
The event programme is packed with exciting opportunities to explore the world of wine. On the 19th of October, indulge in the Wine Walkabout session at the NCO Club, where you can sample over 100 labels.
Tickets are priced at $88++, but early birds can snag them for $78++ until the 13th of October. If you're eager to deepen your knowledge, sign up for one of the 5 themed Masterclasses, priced from $108++, also held at the NCO Club.
For an immersive experience, don't miss the Wine Dinners, priced from $118++ per person, available at various locations. And to cap it all off, the Gala Dinner, priced at $386++, promises an evening featuring collectible and limited edition fine wines, with a winery representative hosting each table.
