Nutmeg & Clove, the homegrown Singaporean bar renowned for its innovative cocktails and championing local heritage, will ring in its 11th anniversary in May 2025. Its recent accolades include rising to #6 in Asia's 50 Best Bars and #28 in World’s 50 Best Bars 2024. 

Cherishing the opportunity to highlight the people and communities that make Singapore special, Nutmeg’s new menu worked with age-old businesses to enshrine their stories and support their products in creative new ways. From local to global, the Nutmeg Cocktail Fiesta turns the spotlight on the heart and soul of their craft—the bartending community. Aptly dubbed the 11th Assembly of Our Global Community, this event surfaces the shared moments, the lasting connections, and the passion that binds the industry together. 

Taking place from 25 May to 1 June 2025, the party features four themed events helmed by a luminary lineup of bartender buddies across the globe, including the folks from the #1 World’s 50 Best Bars 2024. Expect bold flavors, legendary company, and a celebration like no other as North American Bars, Asia Bartending Legends and Global Italian Bartenders communities converge, culminating in a Cocktails, Coffee and Brunch soiree on the final day. 

Nutmeg Cocktail Fiesta 2025 Lineup

North American Bar Community: 25 May 2025 (Sunday), 6pm till late

It’s a rocking start as Nutmeg welcomes a diverse powerhouse lineup from Mexico and the United States. Prohibition-inspired Handshake Speakeasy from Mexico City, ranked #1 on World’s 50 Best Bars 2024, brings its lively hospitality, led by Javier Rodríguez and Judas Estrada. Representing Canada, Prophecy from Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Vancouver —#53 on North America’s 50 Best Bars 2025— shakes things up with its bold, cutting-edge cocktails by acclaimed bartender Jeff Savage. Rounding up the trio is True Laurel from San Francisco—#30 on North America’s 50 Best Bars 2024— a trailblazer in the Californian cocktail movement, helmed by the inventive Nicolas Torres. Setting the vibe for the night is DJ Halyfax, spinning a mix of American pop and hip-hop, to keep the energy flowing till late.

Asia Bartending Legends Community: 27 May 2025 (Tuesday), 7pm till late

Across Asia, these pioneers have paved the way for today’s cocktail industry as we know it. Tip your hat to the legendary Hidetsugu Ueno of Tokyo’s Bar High Five—#45 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2023—and Hisashi Kishi of Star Bar, also in Tokyo, which was featured in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2021 and is listed on the 50 Best Discovery platform. From Bangkok, Chanond Purananda is a pivotal figure in Thailand’s Cocktail Culture movement. As the founder of Hyde & Seek—widely regarded as a catalyst for the local scene—the country’s first true cocktail bar also served as a launchpad for many of the industry’s current leaders. Rounding up the lineup is Huang Shao Lin from Taipei, a respected veteran in the bartending world, bringing decades of craftsmanship and stories to the bar. To complete the experience, Chef Willin Low, founder of Wild Rocket Group, will be serving up thoughtful bites that pair beautifully with the evening’s pours.

Global Italian Bartending Community: 29 May 2025 (Thursday), 7pm till late

Do not underestimate the influence of Italy on the world’s cocktail scene. Italian bartenders have long set the standard in cocktail capitals around the globe—bringing with them a legacy of craft, culture, and timeless hospitality. Experience a night of Italian flair as some of these leading talents take the stage at Nutmeg Cocktail Fiesta. From Milan, Lorenzo Querci and Giovanni Allario of Moebius Milano—ranked #38 on the World’s 50 Best Bars 2024—bring their signature edge and creative approach that’s earned them global acclaim. Elon Soddu, the creative force behind London’s AMARO BAR—#90 on the World’s 50 Best Bars 2024 and featured on 50 Best Discovery—presents his refined, ingredient-led style. Massimo Petovello from Mizunara: The Library in Hong Kong—#66 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024—returns with his elegant, Japanese-accented takes that continue to elevate the city’s bar scene. Rounding off the night is Fabio La Pietra, debuting his brand-new concept—Caffé AnarCord—with its very first shift right here at Nutmeg Cocktail Fiesta. DJ Krys will be setting the mood for the evening with a curated mix of soft rock and pop.

Cocktails, Coffee and Brunch: 1 June 2025 (Sunday), 2pm to 5pm

For the grand finale, a brunch recovery session is called for. Sip on killer Negronis from Bar Termini in London—ranked #6 on the World’s 50 Best Bars 2018—with Leonardo Filipponi and Marco Mussi behind the stick. Their pours will be paired with an exciting dining collaboration by chef-owner Mirko Febbrile of Singapore’s Somma.  With specialty coffee by Kim Guan Guan rounding out the spread, it’s the perfect way to wind down a week of celebration. DJ Amanda Chuin will be spinning a smooth blend of international lounge and house beats to keep the afternoon easy and elevated.
