Together with the then-head bartender Alex Kratèna and Simone Caporale — both industry luminaries in their own right — the team went on to establish Artesian as the cocktail haven it is today; earning accolades such as emerging as Number 1 in the World’s 50 Best Bar Awards in 2015.

Since then, Balazs has helmed positions in Hong Kong’s Lobster Bar and Sydney’s Maybe Sammy that clinched spot #43 in the World’s 50 Best Bar Awards upon its first year of opening.
