Courtyard By Marriott's Las Palmas Transports You To 60s' Hollywood With Cocktails: April 2024

Las Palmas rooftop bar, nestled in the Courtyard by Marriott Singapore Novena, is centred around a Palm Springs-vibe intended to transport you to sunny California. From this month onwards, they're doing a throwback with a new cocktail menu that transports you to the glamour of 1960s Hollywood.

Head Bartender Ron Aransay clearly has a thing for nostalgia, and it shows in this inspired drinks list. Debuting April 23rd, this menu keeps the fun times rolling with enticing weeknight promotions and their signature poolside grub with a spicy Asian twist.

The new cocktail menu is divided into four categories: Modernist, Vinyl, Hollywood, and Getaway. You'll find everything from easy-sipping poolside drinks to the kind of complex, spirit-forward concoctions that were all the rage in that era. The menu spans 12 new creations alongside four retained signatures – a clever move to cater to both adventurous drinkers and those who like a familiar favourite.

Ron's inspiration shines through, with cocktails referencing everything from 60s art movements to the era's biggest stars. It's obvious he's done his research, giving this menu a touch of authenticity.

Looking for a reason to venture out of the CBD mid-week? Las Palmas also has you covered! Beyond standard happy hour, Tap Beer Tuesdays and Margaritas & More Wednesdays sweeten the deal. It's a welcome incentive for you to trade up the busy city centre for the quieter uptown location at Novena.

The food here delivers as well, with classic California-inspired bites given an Asian flair. Expect flavourful twists like their Fiery Chicken Little, which tosses popcorn chicken in garlic and Szechuan red pepper. There's something for everyone, from hefty nacho platters to shareable ribs slathered in tangy sauces. The Asian influences are a great addition – a testament to Las Palmas keeping things fresh and relevant to a Singaporean crowd.

Whether you're a cocktail enthusiast, looking for a cool place to unwind, or to take your date, Las Palmas has something to pique your interest! Make your reservations online here.
