Fans of The Macallan listen up! The Macallan celebrates its 200th anniversary this year, and would present The Heart of The Spirit, an immersive experience capturing The Macallan’s storied past to commemorate its 200th anniversary. Running from 7th to 22nd September at the Clarke Quay Warehouse B, this event offers a unique opportunity to delve into the brand's history and future. 

The Heart of The Spirit experience pays homage to The Macallan’s past 200 years, the present, and provides a prologue for everything that is still to come. 

The Past

The journey begins with a heartfelt tribute to the pioneers who laid the foundation for The Macallan's success. Through captivating illustrations by visual artist Javi Aznarez and evocative poetry by Scottish poet Jenni Fagan - showcasing 200 poems, illustrations and footnotes, you'll witness the key moments that have shaped the distillery's legacy. A unique blend of art and words to bring the story to life.

The Present (Tasting of The Macallan Sherry Oak 18)

Next, you will take the time to time to pause in the present celebration. Illustrations by Javi Aznarez have been animated to tell this tale. Whispers from our past, present and future are narrated by Jenni Fagan. As guests explore the brand’s story, they will also be invited to savour the present with a dram of The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 Years Old. This iconic whisky, matured in sherry-seasoned oak casks, embodies the heart and soul of The Macallan. 

The Future (Ccocktail tasting)

Finally, guests will be transported into the future world of The Macallan, where they will taste a bespoke cocktail specially crafted to honour The Macallan’s 200-year legacy. A celebration in a glass, this exquisite creation marries the rich, complex notes of our signature sherry-oak whisky with a harmonious blend of natural ingredients and will only be available at The Heart of The Spirit experience.

Unveiling of Limited Edition Expressions

But that's not all! The Macallan will also be unveiling a collection of limited-edition creations to mark this momentous occasion. These creations are the brand’s interpretation of time travel through whisky mastery, presented in bespoke vessels created through "cutting edge engineering and ancient craftmanship". These limited-edition releases pay homage to The Macallan's 200 years' legacy.

Tickets for "The Heart of the Spirit" are priced at SGD 48 and include a dram of The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 Years Old, a bespoke cocktail, and an immersive journey through time that's sure to leave a lasting impression for collectors and whisky drinkers alike.
