This is curated with finesse by Underdog Inn's Executive Chef Pete Smit, and features a rotating menu of natural wines hand-picked by Chef. This menu complements the restaurant's regular wine offerings. It's set to revolve with the seasons, keeping you on your toes, always excited for what comes next!
What are natural wines, you ask? Well, they're the new kids on the wine block that everyone's talking about! Natural wines are wines made with minimal intervention, both in the vineyard and the winery. Many of them tend to be fizzy because they undergo a process known as 'bottle fermentation' or 'secondary fermentation'. Because the gas cannot escape, it dissolves into the wine, creating those fizzy, sparkling characteristics that many people enjoy!
What's on tap, you ask? Underdog Inn will serve a changing red and white, straight from the tap, glass by delicious glass. There's also an intriguing lineup of four to five bottles of both red and white wines. The variety of flavours is as exciting as a wild rollercoaster ride! From the sparkling, fizzy joy of pet nats to wines that boast deep, complex flavours, there's something for everyone to dive into!
