"Whiskey Festival 2023 in Yokohama" will be held at Yokohama Osanbashi Hall in four parts for two days on August 26th (Sat) and 27th (Sun).
Yokohama, the first venue, is the birthplace of Japanese bar culture, and whiskey was first introduced to Japan when Commodore Perry of the United States visited Uraga in 1853.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the start of full-fledged whiskey production in Japan, so we chose Yokohama, which has a connection with whiskey, as the venue.
This event is open not only to bartenders and liquor sales people, but also to general enthusiasts.
Also, at each booth in the venue, there are tastings and sales of whiskey and gin, and you can also interact directly with the producers! They are one of the big attractions of this event.
The latest information will be announced on each menu page in the future. Please look forward to it!
It seems that there will be a particularly large number of events held to commemorate the 100th anniversary of whiskey this year.
Each time is limited to 800 people, so check frequently so as not to miss it!
