Haiti's Rhum Barbancourt is famous for its Cognac-influenced rhum agricole - rum produced using sugar cane juice rather than the conventional molasses-based rum.
The historic brand is giving its white rhum a refresh, upgrading the 40% ABV expression to 55% ABV instead - calling it "Haitian Proof". The base sugarcane used will remain the same, the famous Madam Mevs hybrid cane.
