Patron is ready to debut its most prestigious tequila yet - the El Cielo.

The El Cielo is a four-times distilled silver tequila, of course with 100% Blue Weber agave. It was inspired by what the brand identified as a gap in the premium tequila market that was mostly filled with reposado and anejo aged expressions. This motivated the brand to create a premium blanco or unaged tequila.

The new expression is produced using the smallest copper pot still at Hacienda Patron, creating a balance of cooked agave, rich in sweetness and citrus notes, refined over more than 150 tasting sessions.

“By taking our iconic silver Tequila and expertly using a fourth distillation to develop an amazing, prestige Tequila, a first within the category, master distiller David Rodriguez really pushed the boundaries with a distinctive process – the complexity of distilling Tequila without sacrificing flavour requires remarkable talent and we’re immensely proud of this bold innovation his team created.”

The bottle is outfitted with gold designs inspired by the volcanic tahona stone used to produce Patron's tequila, with more detailings featuring other elements inspired by the agave fields from within the Jalisco highlands of Mexico.

Patron El Cielo is available across the US and will launch in the UK from July 2023, exclusively available at Selfridges' London, Manchester and Birmingham stores and also on Selfridges.com, priced at an RRP of 170 GBP (or US$212).
